A PUB in Bangor has welcomed back customers after a six-figure investment, which also saw two jobs created.
Sitting directly opposite the cathedral in the centre of Bangor, The Castle now features new décor, with LED lighting running throughout the venue, and a new audio visual system.
There are now also five new booths at the pub, each fitted with high-definition televisions.

Sarah Hudson, general manager of The Castle, said: “Our goal with this investment is to make our pub the ultimate destination for sports fans in Bangor.
“With a wide range of HD screens and great food and drink at competitive prices, we’re offering the best matchday experience in the area.
“We are a proud part of the Bangor community, and our Welsh heritage is on display throughout The Castle.
“We’re especially looking forward to welcoming students back this month, with plenty of exciting events planned.”
The venue also offers Open Mic nights on Mondays, free pool on Tuesdays, and “Skint Wednesdays”, with drinks deals such as selected pints from £2.25 and offers on shots starting from £1.
Quiz nights are held on Thursdays, followed by “TFI Fridays” and “Vibe Saturdays”.
