The Red Arrows will be in North Wales this weekend gracing the skies above places like Wrexham and Gwynedd while also stopping over at RAF Valley on Anglesey.

Those hoping to catch a glimpse of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team in North Wales are in luck, with the Red Arrows set to make their way to RAF Valley, on Anglesey, on Friday (June 7).

This will see the team fly over parts of North Wales on Friday before setting up overnight at the RAF base located near Rhosneigr on Anglesey.

Onlookers will also be able to catch a glimpse of them in North Wales skies over locations including Gwynedd and Wrexham on Saturday (June 8) and Sunday (June 9) as they venture over the border for various displays and flyovers in England.

Exact times to see the Red Arrows in North Wales

You will be able to see the Red Arrows in the skies above North Wales on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (June 7 to 9).

They will even be based at RAF Valley on Anglesey overnight on Friday.

Friday (June 7)

Bournemouth to RAF Valley

  • 4.10pm - Bournemouth
  • 4.25pm - south of Llanishen (Cardiff)
  • 4.36pm - north west of Darowen (Powys)
  • 4.40pm - south of Glasfryn (Corwen)
  • 4.46pm - arrive at RAF Valley (Anglesey)

Isle of Man TT Display

  • 7.10pm - depart RAF Valley
  • 7.16pm - north west of Llanerchymedd (Anglesey)
  • 7.30pm - Douglas display (Isle of Man)
  • 7.52pm - Oversea
  • 7.59pm - north of Almwch (Anglesey)
  • 8.02pm - arrive back at RAF Valley

Saturday (June 8)

The Red Arrows will depart RAF Valley at 11am on Saturday (June 8) before making their way over:

  • 11.04am - Porth Dinllaen (Gwynedd)
  • 11.15am - north west of Trawsfynydd (Gwynedd)
  • 11.15am - south east of Pontesbury (Shrewsbury)

They will then head over to Worcester, Bletchley Park and Ramsey for flypasts throughout the day before returning to the air base in Bournemouth.

From there they will make their way back up to RAF Shawbury - located in Shrewsbury - were they will arrive at 6.32pm.


Sunday (June 9)

The Red Arrows will be based at RAF Shawbury overnight on Saturday.

They will then depart RAF Shawbury at 3.19pm on Sunday (June 9) passing west of Oswestry at 3.23pm before crossing the Welsh boarder briefly, flying over Ruabon at 3.24pm.

The Red Arrows have been in Normandy, France, this week doing flyovers for events to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
