A MAN from Caernarfon has been accused of smuggling drugs into a women’s prison.
Stephen Jones, 49, of Ffordd Coed Marion, will stand trial after denying a trio of offences.
He is alleged to have tried to bring a quantity of heroin into HMP Styal on February 6, 2022.

Then, on August 29, 2022, Jones reportedly brought heroin and Subutex, an opioid, into the jail near Wilmslow.
He appeared at Chester Crown Court on Friday (April 19) and pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
Jones will return to the court on the week commencing April 21, 2024 for his trial.
