A PERSON severely injured their ankle after walking on the hillside below Cwm Lloer.
The person was walking with another individual, near Llyn Ogwen, Eryri, when the incident happened.
Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation posted on Facebook on Tuesday, February 6: "Two people were walking on the hillside below Cwm Lloer when one slipped, severely injuring their ankle, and couldn't continue walking. Their position was confirmed by Sarloc Rescue / Phonefind and a hasty party met them and provided first aid and splinting to her ankle.
"Despite several attempts to walk, the casualty could not weight bear, so was placed in a stretcher and taken down to family members waiting in their own car."
