A 12-YEAR-old boy who volunteered to have his head shaved for charity has been named Virginia Crosbie’s December Hidden Hero.
Iwan Jones, a pupil at Ysgol Uwchradd Bodedern, volunteered to have his head shaved to raise funds for Alaw Cancer Ward Ysbyty Gwynedd, in Bangor, and raised £400.
The Valley youngster said he carried out the fundraising “because of the way that they look after my Grandad.”
