Another charge of attempted murder was withdrawn.
Ember-Jade Wong, representing Pinnington, told the court that he has no previous convictions, and “severely injured himself” following the offences.
She invited the court to adjourn proceedings so that pre-sentence and psychiatric reports could be compiled on Pinnington’s behalf.
Judge Rhys Rowlands, presiding over today’s plea and trial preparation hearing, agreed to the adjournment.
Pinnington, who is remanded in custody, will now be sentenced at Caernarfon Crown Court on February 16, 2024.
He was warned by Judge Rowlands that these are “serious matters which would, ordinarily, attract an immediate custodial sentence”.
