A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an assault in Holyhead.
The incident occurred on Thursday, 30 November, with police informed of an assault between 9.30pm and 10.15pm in the Roberts and Edmund Street areas of Holyhead, which subsequently resulted in a man being taken to hospital with stab wounds.
A 53-year-old man from the Holyhead area was arrested on suspicion of attempt murder and has since been released on police bail pending further investigation.
Detective Inspector Richard Griffith said: “We’d like to thank the local community for their support during our ongoing investigation.
“However, we continue to appeal to anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage of the area, or any other relevant information about the incident, to contact us as soon as possible.”
