PARKS across Gwynedd and Anglesey were crowned winners at the 2023 Campsites.co.uk Camping and Glamping Awards.
These annual awards highlight the best camping, glamping, and touring sites across the UK, celebrating those who have gone above and beyond for outdoor enthusiasts throughout the year.
Tros Y Waen Holiday Park in Bangor won the “best campsite award (North Wales)”, beating out competition from runners-up Bwch yn Uchaf (Bala) and Presaddfed - Druids' Rest (Holyhead).
Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts in Pwllheli won “best glamping site (North Wales)”, seeing off Three Streams Glamping (Llanfairfechan) and Wigwam Holidays Llyn Peninsula (Gwynedd).
Family-run off-grid Bangor park, Cae Lal, was named “best family campsite (North Wales)”, ahead of Bwch yn Uchaf and Presaddfed - Druids' Rest.

And from Anglesey, Mulberry’s Farm in Holyhead was crowned “best adult-only site (Wales)”, with fellow Anglesey park Bryn Ednyfed Caravan Site one of the runners-up.
North Wales’ other winner was from Denbighshire, as Rhuddlan-based Abbey Farm was named “best caravan park (North Wales)”.
Martin Smith, the founder of Campsites.co.uk, said: "Choosing gets tougher each year, but these sites went the extra mile.
