BELOW is a round-up of all of the criminals whose prison sentencings were covered by the Free Press, Journal, Pioneer or Chronicle in October.
Sharon Roberts, Paige Roberts, Llewelyn White, Liam Babbs, Frederick White, and Callum Parker
These six defendants were jailed for their involvement in a "frenzied attack" on a man in Rhyl, leaving him with near-fatal injuries.
Ryan Tudor-Vincent, 22, the victim of the attack, suffered multiple stab wounds and was the target of “relentless” punches and kicks early on Crescent Road on Sunday, April 9.

Charlotte Brown
Brown, 34, of Cysgod y Castell, Llandudno Junction, caused a man “life-changing” injuries after she hit him with her car while drink-driving in Llandudno.
Mark Davies suffered such serious injuries that he spent the following three-and-a-half months after the incident in hospital.

Sion Harper
Harper, 28, of Dol Elilian, Llanberis, was jailed after he breached the terms of the domestic violence protection order just days after it had been issued to him.
Harper was said to have shown a “flagrant disregard for court orders”.

Joshua Hughes
Hughes, 33, of Dwyran, Anglesey, was jailed for domestic violence offences.
Between April 2021 and February 2023, he engaged in controlling and coercive behaviour towards the victim, and also caused her physical harm.

Michael Hender
Hender, 38, of no fixed abode, failed to comply with the requirements of his post-custodial supervision in Colwyn Bay.
He had displayed “aggressive and inappropriate behaviour” at the Colwyn Bay probation office, on Conway Road.

Geoffrey Hallett
Hallett, 25, of Rhondda Cynon Taff, was jailed after attacking a woman at a hotel in Caernarfon.
He punched the victim in the face and deliberately broke her phone, before assaulting her a second time when she tried to leave the room.

Sion Wyn Thomas
Thomas, 43, of Bangor, was jailed for child abuse offences.
He was also placed on the sex offenders register for life.

Tony Sturrs
Sturrs, 36, of Love Lane, Bangor, was jailed after shoplifting, making threats to damage property, and breaching a criminal behavioural order.
Following his sentencing, District Support Sergeant Andy Davies said: “Sturrs is a persistent offender who has, once again, shown disregard for court orders."

Amy Redfearn
Redfearn, 27, of River Street, Rhyl, was jailed in relation to a number of shoplifting offences in Denbighshire.
She stole items such as an air fryer, bedding, and cigarettes during seven offences.

William Felton
Felton, 38, of Bryn Avenue in Kinmel Bay, was jailed after breaching a sexual harm prevention order and sex offenders register notification requirements on multiple occasions.
Judge Nicola Saffman said that Felton had been "relentless" in breaching the orders against him.

William Machin
Machin, 33, of River Street, Rhyl, headbutted, kicked and suffocated his partner in a drunken attack.
He was also banned from entering Ruthin, the place where the attack took place.

Alexander McLaughlin
McLaughlin, 35, of St Abbs Way, Bradford, made a girl feel “pressured” into engaging in sexual activity with him in North Wales.
He was also barred from working with children or vulnerable adults.

Richard Pennock
Pennock, 46, of St David’s Park, Ewloe, did not comply with a restraining order by sending “seriously unpleasant” messages to his former wife in Llandudno.
Her anxiety went “spiralling through the roof” as Pennock “harassed” her, the court heard.

Christopher Jones
Jones, 33, of John Street, Rhyl, was jailed after he became abusive and threatening to train guards having not purchased a rail ticket.
A scuffle then ensued on a platform at Colwyn Bay railway station after passengers got off the train to confront him.

Kyle Jones
Jones, 21, of King’s Place, Llandudno, committed three robberies, two of which were while carrying weapons.
He brandished a knife and a baseball bat during two of these incidents.

Liam Jones
Jones, 27, of Maes Derw, Llandudno Junction, attempted to rob a bank in Llandudno and threatened to shoot a cashier at the premises.
With a hood pulled over his head, and a mask covering his face, Jones passed a note to a cashier, which read: “Give me all your money or I’ll shoot you”.

Fleet, 26, of Thornley Avenue, Rhyl, sent messages of a sexual nature to three women and one child.
One of these women condemned Fleet’s “sickening actions”.

Danielle Mullan
Mullan, 37, of East Parade, Rhyl, was jailed after she committed multiple thefts and assaults on police officers.
Appearing in court via videolink from HMP Styal where she had been remanded in custody, Mullan was in tears as her sentence was passed.

Owen, 31, of Marine Road, Abergele, was jailed after he blackmailed the woman who housed him into transferring him more than £1,000.
She was left feeling “panic-stricken”, but he told her he would be “out of her hair” if she helped him.
