NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 14 businesses in Gwynedd, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The food hygiene rating scheme gives businesses in England and Wales a rating of 0-5, 5 being the highest, based on their hygiene standards.

The scheme is run in partnership with local authorities and in Wales businesses are obligated to display their rating.
