THE A499 road for Pwllheli has been closed after a road traffic accident.
The incident occurred at the junction of Lon Nant Stigallt.
Motorists have been told to avoid the area.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Due to a road traffic accident - the A499 Pwllheli - at the junction of Lon Nant Stigallt - is currently closed.
"Please avoid the area for the time being."
