A MAN from Bangor was fined after admitting committing common assault and exhibiting threatening behaviour in the city.

Cameron Overhill, 56, of Garth Road, was accused of the following in Bangor on October 7, 2022:

  • Assaulting Carwyn Roberts.
  • Using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intention of causing Roberts harassment, alarm or distress.

He pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on January 12.

Overhill was ordered to pay a fine of £120, compensation of £50, costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and a victim surcharge of £48.

This totalled £303, to be paid in monthly instalments of £24 from February 10.
