A MAN from Llanfairfechan has been fined and banned from the roads after pleading guilty to drink-driving in Anglesey.
Elliot Hill, 30, of Valley Road, was accused of driving a Volvo vehicle on the A5025 in Dulas with 86 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood on August 21.
The UK legal limit is 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
He pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on November 24.
Hill was disqualified from driving for 12 months, but this will be reduced by 13 weeks if he completes an obligatory course by June 24, 2023.
The court ordered him to pay a £400 fine, a £160 victim surcharge, and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This totalled £645, to be paid in full by December 22.
