A RESIDENT of Gwynedd has received a fine and a ban from the roads after pleading guilty to drink-driving.
Dana Tewson, 66, of Caeau Gleision, Rhiwlas, was accused of driving a Vauxhall Astra vehicle on Lon Castell, Rhiwlas on July 31 with 57 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
Tewson pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on August 15.

The court disqualified Tewson from driving for a year, though this will be reduced by 13 weeks should Tewson complete an obligatory course by March 15, 2023.
Tewson was also fined £80, and ordered to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 and a £34 victim surcharge.
This totalled £199, which Tewson is to pay in full by September 12.
