BEACHES in North Wales have been ranked as some of the best in the country according to social media platform TikTok in a new study.

With the school summer holidays in full swing, Parkdean Resorts has revealed the top 10 beaches in Wales according to TikTok to enjoy this summer.

West Shore Beach in Llandudno came third, while Shell Island in Gwynedd was fifth, Abersoch Beach (Gwynedd) ranked sixth, Tywyn Beach (Gwynedd) was placed eighth, Portmeirion Beach (Gwynedd) was ninth, and Barmouth Beach (Gwynedd) came 10th.
