A MAN is being sought by North Wales Police (NWP) following an incident in Anglesey last night (August 18).

Police were called to the scene, in the Traeth Penial area of Llanfachraeth, at approximately 7.30pm.

Anyone who was in the region between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, and has relevant information to assist police with their investigation, is urged to contact the force.

NWP Gwynedd North said: "Officers were called yesterday evening to an incident that occurred at approximately 7.30pm in the Traeth Penial area of Llanfachraeth, Anglesey.

"The incident involved a male suspect who fled the scene and who is currently being sought by officers.

"The suspect is described as a white male of slim build and aged in his 20s.

"He was wearing a grey hooded top and had brown hair worn down around his ears.

"Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and officers remain in the area as part of this investigation.

"If you were in this area between 6.30pm-8.30pm yesterday, our investigation team would welcome a call from you to explore whether you have witnessed, or have dashcam footage, of something which could assist with our investigation.
