A MAN from Holyhead has been ordered to undertake unpaid work after pleading guilty to an assault in the town.
Mark Chambers, 38, of Maes Llety, was accused of common assault of Tammy Hughes on Gilbert Street on May 4.
Hughes sustained no injuries from the assault.
Chambers pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on August 4.

The court ordered Chambers to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work by August 3, 2023.
He is to undergo six months of alcohol treatment, and complete a maximum of 20 days’ rehabilitation activity.
Chambers is also to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £95 victim surcharge.
This total of £180 is to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was made by the court for deductions from Chambers’ benefits.
