HYDRATION is Dan Moore's key phrase ahead of what is going to be a hit weekend.

It is going to top 30C as Buckley Town host Phil Hudson's Ruthin Town in a key Cymru North clash tomorrow.

Buckley boss Moore is looking to make it five consecutive wins to open the campaign and asked if the hot weather would result in a change in tactics, he said: "Probably not, to be honest.

"We've just got to make sure we keep them topped up and hydrated.

"I don't think it (the heat) affects anything from a tactical point of view."

In a perfect start to the season, Buckley have come out on top in all four of their games - two in Cymru North and twice in the Welsh League Cup.

The latter competition saw their latest success, a 1-0 verdict at Cefn Druids.

"We didn't have the ball for quite a lot of it," said Moore.

"There was about a 15-minute spell in the second half we didn't have the ball and we defended quite deep, but we looked organised."

Moore has been pleased with the Buckley defensive showings in all four matches to date and he will be looking for more of the same at home to Phil Hudson's Ruthin, who have only suffered defeat once this season.

"They have got good players have Ruthin," added Moore.

"They have been a solid Cymru North team for the past five years."
