THE Britannia Bridge is to close tonight (July 18) while lintel repairs are carried out.
The bridge, which links Gwynedd and Anglesey, will be closed for up to 20 minutes at a time during 7pm today and 5am tomorrow morning.
Traffic lights will also be in operation.
Traffic Wales tweeted: “A55 Britannia Bridge Lintel repairs: there will be traffic lights and the bridge to be closed during the night for up to 20 minutes at a time.
“July 18-19: 7pm – 5am.”

The bridge also closed last Friday in both directions due to a police incident.
