THE CHEAPEST places to get unleaded petrol in Anglesey, Bangor and Caernarfon have been revealed as prices near £2 per litre.
The average cost of filling a typical family car with petrol could soon exceed £100 for the first time in the UK.
The average price of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts rose marginally from 190.9p per litre on June 27 to 191.7p on Monday, 4 July, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The cheapest places for petrol are:
Gulf Amlwch – 185.9p
Texaco Caernarfon – 186.2p
Asda Llangefni – 189.7p
Asda Bangor – 189.7p
Essar Holyhead – 189.9p
Jet Holyhead – 189.9p
BP Bangor – 189.9p
The most expensive places for petrol are:
Texaco Pentraeth – 193.9p
Texaco Llangefni – 193.9p
Tesco Holyhead – 193.9p
Texaco Bangor – 193.9p
Morrisons Caernarfon – 192.9p
Shell Caernarfon – 192.9p
Tesco Extra Bangor – 191.9p
