A Pwllheli drinking establishment has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
The Bar, a pub/bar/nightclub on Stryd Moch in Pwllheli, was given the score after assessment on May 31, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The Bar is located in the heart of the market town, and serves homemade specials and seasonal food and drink, as well as catering for private events.
The restaurant’s hygienic food handling was rated ‘Very good’, its management of food safety ‘Good’ and the cleanliness and condition of its facilities and building ‘Generally satisfactory’.
It means that of Gwynedd's 147 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 137 (93 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
