AN “ART for All” competition is to be held at the Ucheldre Centre in Holyhead, Anglesey this summer.

The theme is “freedom”, and the judging and prizegiving is at the centre on July.

Handing in of work and forms is from July 14-17, while the competition will be judged by artist Christine Garwood.

The works will then form an exhibition on display at the centre from July 22 – September 4.

There will be five categories, with prizes as follows:

Adult

First - £500 cash prize.

Second - £250 cash prize.

Third - £125 cash prize.

Junior A (age 15-18 incl)*

First - £60 cash prize.

Second - £30 cash prize.

Third - £15 cash prize.

Junior B (age 12-14 incl)*

First - £40 cash prize.

Second - £20 cash prize.

Third - £10 cash prize.

Junior C (age seven-11 incl)*

First - £30 cash prize.

Second - £15 cash prize.

Third - £10 cash prize.

Junior D (age up to seven)*

First - £10 cash prize.

Second - £5 cash prize.

Third - £5 cash prize.

* For each of the junior sections, a £150 voucher for art supplies will be given to the school attended by the child who wins first prize in each category.
