BEAUMARIS Castle will host this year’s popular ‘Comedy at the Castle’ event on July 23, with all proceeds going to Conwy-based St David’s Hospice.

Organised the charity, the night will host an entertaining line up of comedians all raising a laugh and much needed funds for the adult palliative care hospice.

Headlining this event will be Justin Moorhouse as seen on Qi, Live At The Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights.

Joining Justin will be BAFTA-winning comedian and Hospice patron Tudur Owen, international award-winning comedian Stuart Goldsmith and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Barbara Nice.

Once again, the Master of Ceremonies will be ‘Stand up at the Seaside’ host Dave Rothnie.

Event coordinator Rhian Jacobs said: “For those who wish to add a little extra to their evening, we will be offering the opportunity to purchase a summertime snack box for two, full of delicious food to share.

“Also, so you can enjoy stress free travel and the fully stocked bar, we are organising coaches from Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno Junction and Conwy.

“Both snack boxes and coach travel should be booked in advance with tickets.”

The castle gates open at 6.30pm and the performance will be in the English language, while seating is unreserved and the event is for over 18s only.

The event is sponsored by Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents.

Tickets are £20 each, and with the event very popular in previous years, book today at www.stdavidshospice.org.uk or call 01492 873664 to secure your place.
