THE CHEAPEST places to get diesel on Anglesey, Bangor and Caernarfon have been revealed as motorists are warned that average fuel prices will hit £2 per litre this summer.
The average price of a litre of diesel at UK forecourts rose marginally from 181.6p per litre on May 30 to 185.3p on Monday, 6 June, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The cheapest places for diesel are:
Asda Llangefni – 182.7p
Asda Bangor – 183.7p
Unbranded Cemaes Bay forecourt (Tregele Service Station) – 183.9p
Morrisons Holyhead – 183.9p
Texaco Beaumaris – 183.9p
Essar Holyhead – 184.9p
BP Bangor – 184.9p
The most expensive places for diesel are:
Gulf Amlwch – 185.9p
Gulf Gaerwen (Gaerwen Crossroads) – 185.9p
Texaco Llangefni – 186.9p
Morrisons Caernarfon – 186.9p
Texaco Pentraeth – 188.9p
Texaco Bangor – 188.9p
Tesco Extra Bangor – 189.9p
