A TRIO of garden openings will be held in North Wales to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee this weekend.

Organised by the National Garden Scheme (NGS), Cae Newydd in Anglesey will be open on June 4 and 5 between 11am-4pm.

A NGS spokesperson said: “Although we can’t promise the best china, there will be a right royal spread of cakes and savouries to enjoy at Cae Newydd this Jubilee weekend - and extra bunting to boot!

“You are also welcome if you want to pack a special picnic lunch to enjoy in the gardens.

“We hope you can gather friends and family together; you can even bring the dog along - for a lovely time in these delightful gardens with great views and around the large wildlife pond.”
