THE CHEAPEST places to get unleaded petrol in Anglesey, Bangor and Caernarfon have been revealed as prices continue rise amid the cost-of-living crisis.
The average price of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts rose marginally from 165.1p per litre on May 16 to 167.7p on Monday, 23 May, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The cheapest places for petrol are:
Tesco Extra Bangor – 163.9p
Asda Llangefni – 167.7p
Gulf Gaerwen (Gaerwen Crossroads) – 167.9p
Tesco Holyhead – 168.9p
Morrisons Caernarfon – 168.9p
Morrisons Holyhead – 168.9p
Unbranded forecourt at Cemaes Bay – 168.9p
The most expensive places for petrol are:
Texaco Beaumaris – 173.9p
Essar Anglesey (Benllech) – 172.9p
Shell Menai Bridge – 169.9p
Texaco Caernarfon (South Road) – 168.9p
Shell Caernarfon – 168.9p
