THE CHEAPEST places to get unleaded petrol in Anglesey, Bangor and Caernarfon have been revealed as prices continue rise amid the cost-of-living crisis.
The average price of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts rose marginally from 163.7p per litre on May 9 to 165.1p on Monday, 16 May, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The cheapest places for petrol are:
Tesco Extra Bangor – 160.9p
Asda Bangor (Farrar Road) – 162.7p
Gulf Gaerwen (Gaerwen Crossroads) – 163.9p
BP Bangor (Beach Road) – 163.9p
Tesco Holyhead – 164.9p
Asda Llangefni – 165.7p
Morrisons Caernarfon – 165.9p
Morrisons Holyhead – 165.9p
The most expensive places for petrol are:
Texaco Beaumaris – 173.9p
Texaco Bangor – 171.9p
Essar Anglesey (Benllech) – 168.9p
Texaco Caernarfon (South Road) – 167.9p
Shell Caernarfon – 166.9p
