A WOMAN from Holyhead has been disqualified from driving and fined after she was found guilty of drink-driving in Llanddulas.

Sian Jones, 45, of Hunters Chase, was accused of driving a Ford vehicle on the A55 in Llanddulas on April 19 with 62 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit in Wales is 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.

Jones pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 11.

She was banned from driving for 18 months, though this will be reduced by 18 weeks should she completed an obligatory course by May 7, 2023.

She was also fined £120 and made to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.

This amounted to a total of £239.

This is to be paid in monthly instalments of £25, commencing May 25.
