LLANGEFNI town councillors have unanimously elected Cllr Non W Parry as the new town mayor for the year 2022-23 at its annual general meeting on Monday (May 16).
Cllr John Lee was elected deputy mayor, meanwhile.

In her address, the town mayor thanked the members for their support and stated that there was a busy year ahead, with many activities resuming following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cllr Parry referred to the need to work with the community to ensure that the council supported the town of Llangefni and its residents.
