THE CHEAPEST places to get diesel on Anglesey, Bangor and Caernarfon have been revealed as prices see a further rise in the last week.
The average price of a litre of diesel at UK forecourts rose marginally from 177.1p per litre on May 2 to 178.4p on Monday, 9 May, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The cheapest places for diesel are:
- Asda Bangor – 174.7p
- Morrisons Holyhead – 175.9p
- Morrisons Caernarfon – 175.9p
- Asda Llangefni – 176.7p
- Tesco Extra Bangor – 176.9p
- Shell Caernarfon – 177.9p
- Texaco Caernarfon (South Road) – 177.9p
The most expensive places for diesel are:
- Texaco Bangor – 179.9p
- Unbranded Cemaes Bay forecourt (Tregele Service Station) – 179.9p
- Texaco Llangefni – 179.9p
- Texaco Beaumaris – 178.9p
- Tesco Holyhead – 178.9p
- Gulf Gaerwen (Gaerwen Crossroads) – 178.9p
