A WOMAN whose dog injured another person in Gwynedd is to pay nearly £1,500, while the dog is to be put down.
Gillian Jones, 56, of Glanrafon Estate, Bontnewydd, Caernarfon, was the owner of Ned, a two-year-old Border Collie who, while dangerously out of control, injured Bobbi Jones.
This was on June 5, 2021 at Talymignedd Farm, Nantlle.

At Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court on May 9, the dog was ordered to be put down.
Gillian Jones is also to pay £800 in compensation, as well as a £519 fine, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £52 victim surcharge, to be paid in full by August 7.
This amounted to a total payment of £1,456.
