“The care and commitment nurses bring to their work provides not only medical care and expertise but much-needed support and companionship to patients and their families.

“On Nurses’ Day, I’d like to place on record my gratitude to all nursing and healthcare staff working across my Arfon constituency, whether based at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, Ysbyty Eryri in Caernarfon or supporting patients in various ways out in the community.

“The challenges they have selflessly faced over the past few years have been immense. They deserve to be recognised for all that they do to support patients and their families.
