A LIFEBOAT crew batted strong winds to come to the aid of kayakers off Anglesey.
The RNLI Moelfre Inshore Lifeboat Enfys 2 launched at 12.49pm on Tuesday after being tasked by H.M. Coastguard.
A concerned beach walker on Traeth Lligwy had spotted an inflatable kayak with two adults on board struggling to make headway in the strong offshore wind.

The lifeboat, with three volunteer crew members on board, was quickly on the scene.
The RNLI said: "Both adults were taken on board the lifeboat, and to avoid any hazards to navigation, or further call outs for the kayak itself, it too was brought on board.
"A quick assessment of casualties showed that they felt cold and shocked after their experience but did not require medical assistance.
"Both casualties were given sea safety advice by the lifeboat crew and by the Moelfre Coastguard team, who assisted onshore."

The RNLI has sea safety advice on its website, it says: "If you are planning to participate in water sports this summer, we would always recommend that you are properly equipped with the relevant skills and experience for the conditions."
