THE escorting of an abnormal load tomorrow (May 5) will have an impact on a number of busy roads in North Wales.

Starting in Penley, Wrexham at 9.30am, the load is due to arrive at Hendre Mynach Park, Barmouth at 4.30pm.

This will affect traffic on the A539, A483, A5, A494 and A470.

NWP (North Wales Police) Gwynedd South said: “An abnormal load will be travelling across North Wales tomorrow (May 5).

“Starting out from Burgess Lane, Penley at 9.30am, the escorted load will move along the A539 to the A483, before heading west along the A5, A494 and A470.

“It is scheduled to arrive at Hendre Mynach Park, Barmouth at 4.30pm.

“Please allow extra journey time if travelling along these roads.”
