A MAN from Bangor has been fined after he was found guilty of theft from a supermarket in the city.

Gareth Lloyd, 51, of Love Lane, was accused of stealing a quantity of chocolate, Wine Gums, and other sweets from a Lidl store on April 22.

He pleaded guilty to the offence at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on April 25.

Mr Lloyd was fined £100.

No order was made by the court for compensation or further costs due to Mr Lloyd’s time spent in custody.
