THE CHEAPEST places to get petrol in Bangor and Caernarfon have been revealed as prices rise ahead of a busy Bank Holiday weekend.
The average price of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts rose marginally from 161.7p per litre on April 18 to 161.8p on Monday, 25 April, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The cheapest place to get unleaded fuel in Bangor remains the BP garage at 159.9p.
The most expensive place in Bangor is Tesco, at 160.9p.
In Caernarfon, the cheapest places to refill your unleaded petrol are the Morrisons and Shell, both at 157.9p.
Caernarfon’s priciest place is the Texaco at 159.9p.
