THE CHEAPEST places to get diesel in Bangor and Caernarfon as prices rise again ahead of a busy Bank Holiday weekend.

The average price of a litre of diesel at UK forecourts rose from 175.9p on April 18 to 176.3p on Monday, 25 April, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

The cheapest place to get diesel in Bangor can be found at the Asda on Farrar Road for 170.7p, followed by the Tesco Extra at 173.9p.

The most expensive place is the BP forecourt on Beach Road, at a rate of 177.9p.

In Caernarfon, the cheapest place to refill your diesel is the Morrisons, at 171.9p.

Caernarfon’s priciest place is at the Texaco on South Road (Caer Service Station), at 173.9p.
