A service spokesperson said that there was “100 per cent fire damage to the vehicle”, and that the fire “spread to a BT pole and hedge”.
The spokesperson added that the fire was due to the fact that the “road traffic collision was thought to have caused an electrical issue in the engine compartment”.
A North Wales Police spokesperson added: "At just after 6.35pm last night, we received reports of a vehicle in Mynydd Nefyn.
"Officers and fire crew attended the scene and recovery was arranged (to be conducted when the vehicle was cooled down sufficiently)."
