THE CHEAPEST places to get petrol in Bangor and Caernarfon have been revealed as prices drop for the second straight week.
The average price of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts dropped from 162.7p per litre on March 28 to 161.9p on Monday, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
The rise is in prices is largely down to Russia's invasion of the Ukraine - which has seen sanctions on Russian oil and gas hit UK consumers.
The cheapest place to get unleaded fuel in Bangor remains the Asda on Farrar Road, which stands at 158.7p, followed by the Tesco Extra 158.9p per litre.
The most expensive places in Bangor are the BP on Beach Road and Esso Bangor, at 163.9p.
In Caernarfon, the cheapest place to refill your unleaded petrol is the Shell for 160.9p.
Caernarfon’s priciest place is the Morrisons at 163.9p.
