THE CHEAPEST places to get petrol on Anglesey have been revealed as prices drop for the second week in a row.

The average price of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts dropped from 162.7p per litre on March 28 to 161.9p on Monday, according to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

The rise is in prices is largely down to Russia's invasion of the Ukraine - which has seen sanctions on Russian oil and gas hit UK consumers.

The cheapest place to get unleaded fuel on Anglesey at the moment is at the Asda in Llangefni for 158.7p, followed by the Gulf in Gaerwen at 158.9p.

The most expensive place remains the Jet in Holyhead at 166.9p.
