PUPILS at an Anglesey school had to work from home due to staff absences.
On Thursday, Ysgol Syr Thomas Jones told parents and pupils that Year 9 children would need to remain at home.

The school, at Pentrefelin, Amlwch, said the reason was due to "numerous staff absences".

The school's Facebook page said: "Good evening, due to numerous staff absences, Year 9 pupils are required to remain at home tomorrow (25/03/22).
"There will be no “live lessons” but work will be provided via Teams. We apologise for the inconvenience and will welcome them back on Monday (28/03/22) unless you hear differently."
