SNOWDONIA National Park has been named one of the most calming national parks in the world, in a study conducted by YESSS Electrical.
Researchers measured the heart rates of participants a total of 2,118 times, across the 66 most popular national parks across the globe, to reveal the areas that create the largest calming effect.

The average heart rates then helped determine the national parks’ ranking on the list, with Snowdonia National Park making the tenth spot with an average heart rate of 74.6 beats per minute.
In a recent study carried out by Visualite, created and supplied by YESSS Electrical, 85% of patients reported that outdoor imagery helped them feel much calmer and more relaxed in a clinical environment.
This comes after a YouGov survey by The Mental Health Organisation in which 73 per cent of UK adults said that connecting with nature has been important in terms of managing their mental health, 70 per cent agreed that being close to nature improves their mood, and 49 per cent said being close to nature helps them to cope with stress.
