AN ANGLESEY man has been sentenced to ten months in prison for possessing cannabis with intent to supply the drug.

Daniel Lloyd Taylor, 25, of Moelfre, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the Supply of Cannabis, Possession with intent to supply Cannabis as well as the offence of Money Laundering at Caernarfon Crown Court.

Investigating officer T/Sgt 3233 Dylan Thomas said: "Today’s sentence should serve as a deterrent to those thinking about drugs supply being the way forward.

"Thanks to partnership working and assistance from the local community, 1.5 KG of Cannabis was recovered as well as a substantial amount of money.

"We will continue to proactively work with members of the public to gather intelligence and act on it.
