PIONEER readers made the most of World Book Day today (March 3), sharing pictures of their children’s costumes.

Schoolchildren throughout the country have gone to school today dressed as a character from their favourite book to celebrate the annual event, which encourages children to read more.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the celebration.
