A MAN from Holyhead has been ordered to pay more than £500 after he was caught speeding on the A55 last year.
Christopher Winstanley, aged 50, of Lon Newydd, was found to be exceeding a temporary 40mph restriction on the road on July 9, 2021.
Mr Winstanley was sentenced at Mold Magistrates’ Court on February 23.
He was fined £400, as well as being ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40, and additional costs of £110.
This amounted to a total of £550, which he was given until March 23 to pay.
Mr Winstanley also received three penalty points on his driving record.
