THE Pwllheli franchise of Slimming World is set to reopen from Monday, January 24 after hiring a new Consultant, Maxine Lyons.
With up to 4,000 Consultants running more than 15,000 groups across the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, Slimming World is the UK’s largest weight loss organisation.
New Consultant Maxine Lyons is, like all of their Consultants, also a former member who lost weight thanks to Slimming World’s support, having originally joined a group in Porthmadog.
Fascinated by the process of helping others to lose weight, she has decided to restart Pwllheli’s group.
With Ms Lyons’ extensive background in dance, having been a long-time member of Birmingham Dance Exchange Demo Team and performing with The Keep Fit Association at Royal Albert Hall, her drive and passion will surely be traits others can thrive off.
The first session at 7pm on Monday 24, January 2022 will see the group return to their original Pwllheli Rugby Club home in Efailnewydd, LL53 5TH.
