A FIRE caused by an oven accidentally being left on took place in a Gwynedd property yesterday (January 17).

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the incident, in Parc, at roughly 5.20pm.

A service spokesperson said: “An oven was left on accidentally, resulting in a fire in the kitchen of a property in Parc, Gwynedd.

“The fire was out prior to our arrival – contained to the cooker.”

There were no injuries.
