AN 18-year-old man has been arrested and bailed following an assault which took place in Holyhead on Friday evening (January 7).
North Wales Police (NWP) are appealing for witnesses to the assault, which took place at roughly 8.30pm in the Tan-yr-Efail region.
A NWP Anglesey statement read: “We are appealing for witnesses after a male was assaulted in the Tan-yr-Efail area of Holyhead at approximately 8.30pm on Friday, January 7.
“An 18-year-old male, who was known to the victim, has been arrested for the assault and bailed for further enquiries to be completed.
“We are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.
“However, if you witnessed the assault, saw or heard any altercation in the area or have any other information regarding this incident, please contact us using our live chat facility or on 101, quoting reference B003078.”
