A MAN was rescued from a heavily smoke-logged kitchen in Gwynedd yesterday (December 30).
This was in the village of Rhostryfan.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident at roughly 5.20pm yesterday, and sent two crews from Caernarfon.
A service spokesperson added that there was “no fire situation” and that the smoke was “caused by cooking left unattended”.
Advice on cooking safety is available on the service’s website at: www.northwalesfire.gov.wales/keeping-you-safe/at-home/cooking.
