ALEX Morgan netted twice as Forden United hit back to celebrate a 2-1 win at Abermule in the MMP-NL Mid Wales League East.

Charlie Humphreys fired Mule into a 24th minute lead only for Morgan to net either side of the break to seal United's victory.

Meanwhile Churchstoke and Llanfyllin Town shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw at Camlad Park.

Stephen Stokes fired the visitors ahead only for Greg Pryce to level before the break for the Marketmen.

Gruff Evans restored Llanfyllin's lead midway through the second-half only for substitute Luis Davies to level for a second time for the hosts.

Meanwhile Waterloo Rovers celebrated a 2-1 win at home to Hay St Marys.

Steve Jones broke the deadlock for the Welshpool side with 20 minutes remaining and despite Hay hitting back through Jack Cripps the home side prevailed as Jake Mantell struck a late winner.

Elsewhere Builth Wells beat 10 man Llansantffraid with goals from Greg Preece and Aeron Powell with the Saints seeing Glenn Evans dismissed with 20 minutes remaining.

Meanwhile honours ended even between Tywyn Bryncrug and Tregaron Turfs in the western league.

Rhun Garner gave the Turfs an interval lead but Aled Jones hit back for the home side after the break as the match ended 1-1.

It was a similar story at Aberaeron who were held to a 2-2 draw by Aberystwyth University.

An Elwyn Edwards own goal saw the students lead at the break before Rhydian ap Owen and Edwards netted after the break to give the Seasiders the lead.

However the visitors were not to be denied and levelled through Pablo De Torres with 20 minutes remaining.

Elsewhere Radnor Valley beat Bishop's Castle 4-2 to book their place in the third round of the MMP-NL Mid Wales League Cup.

Valley twice led through Geraint Lloyd and Elliot Morris strikes only for Castle to hit back through Kieran Mulloch and Jake Ellis.

However the Goats prevailed in extra-time with Morris completing his double before Joey Price settled the outcome.

Brecon Corries also booked their place in the next round with a comfortable 5-1 win at home to Dyffryn Banw.

Craig Evans and Joel Evans both netted twice for the hosts with Adam Tebbitt completing their scoring while Callum Bain saw red with Joe Evans netting a consolation for the villagers.
